WELCOME TO BAILLEAU

Our airfield (LFFL) is located 60 km south west from Paris and is a very good place to start for cross country flights over central France with very good soaring conditions from April to mid September. It is only one hour drive from Paris so you or your family can also easily plan some tourism to Paris.

The gliding club of Bailleau organizes each  year during the first fortnight of August an International Gliding Competition (le Concours de Bailleau): every one is welcome
The 2006 event will take place from July the 31st to August the 11^th and it will be registered for the Official IGC Pilot Ranking List

Guests (private and clubs) are welcome to Bailleau except during our International Competition (or you have to take part in it!)
There is a great camping place on the airfield with showers and sanitary installations in a building with also some clean rooms available (book in advance for the rooms!). There is also a bar and restaurant on the airfield with small prices.
We have two tugs (one Rallye 180 and one Robin DR400), and every morning a briefing with the Chief Pilot will give you the weather forecast (we have a Meteosat receiver) and some proposed tasks.

conditions are:

annual club membership	50 Euro
fee	15 Euro per pilot for each day of flight
500 m aerotow	22 Euro (26 Euro during our International contest)
caravan or tent	7 Euro /day up to 70Euro
room with one person,	15 Euro / night  (-20% for one week, -30% for two weeks)
room with two persons	9 Euro/ night for each person  (idem)
room with three persons	8 Euro/ night for each person  (idem)

There is no fee per glider (outside parking)
Non french pilots must also have the French Federal Licence
